Well, I wanted snow and that's what I got.
HEAPS of it.

I couldn't get to college yesterday (see previous entry) and now I'm legit snowed in (not a problem I've ever had before)

Taxis aren't running so I can't get to my train! No idea if the train is even running anyway but fuuuuck.

I did consider waking my uncle up and getting him to run me,  but what if I get to Salford and can't get a bus? Or what if I can't get home later from the station because of taxis? Etc. Living over here with no ability to drive and no parents has me (and my mother) worried about being stranded today and I'm under strict instructions to stay put (overkill? Maybe.)

I rreeeaaallllly don't want college to think I'm taking the piss since I've only done 1 week and now missed two days! Dad gets here at midnight tonight so HOPEFULLY this won't happen again but I needed to get in today!

I'm trying to sort out my UCAS stuff at school and yesterday was the deadline at college for that (I'm way on top of it but I need to BE THERE to sort it out. Plus I have an extra Spanish lesson today which the school have gone out of their way to organise (they don't offer Spanish). Also, I was supposed to get some bloody tickets today but now can't get to a ticket office, looks like I'm hyjacking someone's Visa!! - I'm determined to get them.

All in all I'm not pleased but my god it's beautiful out there. Virgin snow. Nobody has driven yet (nobody stupid enough) and nobody seems to have walked through it (well it is 6:30am) so it's just a gorgeous thick layer of white covering everything!

I feel bad appreciating it given I feel like I'm skiving (I hate that) but just now on the news they're telling us (Manchester, Bolton, etc.) to stay home and stay warm because the roads aren't safe. They said some schools are closed (doubt that includes mine) and that, particularly in Scotland, there are lots of houses without gas etc.

EDIT: I got the tickets :)
aaaaaaaand it's a bloody good job I didn't go in today! I'd have been stranded. It's just kept on snowing and snowing all day and aparently the buses in Manchester stopped running. Also found out that the train I would have been on was horribly delayed and a few subsequent ones were cancelled all together! I'm lucky that the taxi couldn't take me!

We went out the back and half-made a snow man (don't ask) and lobbed snow balls at eachother (well, I had snowballs lobbed at me) but that was my own fault as I did NAG and nag and nag my cousins to take me out and play in the snow! Was good though, it was cold and wet and I ended up on my arse a good few times but apart from that it was well cool! I'd post some photos if I could get them off the camera... We'll see if I can work it!
